I skipped last week to take a moment to refresh and recharge. It has been an incredibly busy summer, and more exciting things are starting to transpire. I took the week of the solar eclipse to ground myself, my practices, and my cooking. It was a week of inspiration, with trial and error and new flavors. This weeks' menu brings in some new flavors while maintaining the integrity of my Israeli- Mediterranean style with a South African kick, always keeping local ingredients at the forefront. Most of the vegetables came from the Decatur Farmers Market which happens Wednesday's and Saturday's.
